MESSAGE FROM THE SECRETARY RE Vera Bayliss' Funeral

Here are the details regarding Vera Bayliss’ funeral

Wednesday 24th July 2024 at 1pm - Southend Crematorium, 285 Sutton Road, Southend-on-Sea, SS2 5PX. Family flowers only.  If anyone would like to make a donation in memory of Vera, her chosen charity is The Royal British Legion c/o Co-op Funeralcare,  104 High Street, Rayleigh SS6 7BY.

The wake is at Saxon Hall, Aviation Way, Southend-on-Sea SS2 6UN.  It would be appreciated if anyone intending to go to the wake could you let Shirley Beavis know by 19 July so the family can gauge numbers for the catering

Unfortunately Vera's funeral is on the same day at our next Council Meeting, so members of the Executive will be unable to attend.  This is a shame because Vera was a tremendous supporter of the County and I personally have known her for over 50 years.  I sincerely hope that many ladies who knew Vera will be able to attend.
